How long does production + shipping take?

At StoryGold, your satisfaction is our #1 priority. We strive to get your custom jewelry to you as quickly as possible. All orders are processed and shipped free of charge with care. Every piece is unique to you and made with the utmost care and quality control. Because of this, it takes approximately 4 weeks from payment to receive your one-of-a-kind piece, and in some cases up to 6 weeks. International orders may take longer to arrive.

Do StoryGold enamel pendants come in solid gold?

Yes! All of our pieces are crafted in 18k gold or fine silver (as opposed to sterling). We find that these two materials have the best composition for long-lasting enamel due to their lack of nickel and copper.

What about sterling silver?

We prefer to work with fine silver, which is 99.9% pure silver. This ensures the longest-lasting enamel for an heirlooom-quality piece of jewelry.

What about gold vermeil?

Our pendants don't come in gold vermeil at this time! The enamel firing process is very sensitive to the base metal, and we aim to offer pieces that will last multiple lifetimes.

How can I track my order?

You will receive a tracking number via email once your order has been shipped. You can also check the status of your order in your account!

What is your return policy?

We accept general returns within 30 days of delivery. Items must be in their original condition and packaging. There is no restocking fee.

How do I initiate a return?

To initiate a return, please contact us. Once your return is received and inspected, we will process your refund to the original payment method. Refunds may take an additional 3-7 business days to process back to your account statement.

What are your guarantees?

Love it or your money back! We have a general, no-questions-asked 30-day return policy. We will also repair any piece of jewelry free of charge within 6 months of purchase for any manufacturing defects.

Can I return custom-designed pieces?

Yes! All purchases can be returned within 30 days.

Who designs your jewelry?

We design all jewelry in-house in San Francisco, California!

Where is your jewelry manufactured?

We partner with skilled artisans globally to create our pieces. For example, some of our gemstones are sourced from India, while production occurs in factories in both India and China, depending on the specific techniques required for your custom piece.

Will my custom design be sold to others?

No, we will not sell your custom design to other customers or list it anywhere on our website or social media. We may ask to showcase your piece on our social media to highlight our design process and craftsmanship. We'll always ask your permission before doing so!

Do you offer discounts for multiple orders?

Due to the custom nature of our pieces, each requiring individual attention and craftsmanship, we don't offer discounts. Our direct-to-consumer pricing leaves us very little margin to offer discounts, but that means you're getting the best price possible!

Do you create engagement rings?

We can create your engagement ring, just contact us.

Can you create any type of jewelry?

Contact us if you have a piece in mind! We can make basically anything as long as it's gold, silver, or platinum. We have a variety of lab & natural gemstones as well.
